I’m trying to make a conscious effort to look after my skin, strangely having a baby and being on someone else’s clock (his) means that I’m more organised myself, everything I do has to fit around him so I’m really prioritising what I want to do in those moments that I have to myself.
I’ve always really wanted to be one of those people that take their make up off before bed and remember to exfoliate 3 times a week so now i’m making a point of doing just that, and more.
I’m not a faffer and I like products that give me results so both cleansing steps take place in the shower and the led mask that looks like it needs an evening on the couch is actually a throw it on and get on with your morning routine whilst it does its job (in 10 minutes) I’m also making life easy for myself by putting the below products on a tray next to my sink so they are all close to hand and in groups of morning / evening.
AM / STEP 1 (in the shower) This scrub makes my skin feel resurfaced.
AM / STEP 2 The led mask ?(that only takes 10 minutes -you can wear whilst you get dressed or make coffee etc)
AM / STEP 3 I love pressing this toner into my skin as it makes its feel fresh.
AM / STEP 4 I use the hydraulic acid first and let it dry and then add the brighten drops (these are actual magic - buy for anyone in your life that isn’t getting much sleep)
AM / STEP 5 The face cream calms any redness and makes it look more even.
AM / STEP 6 The caffeine eye treatment really tightens up the skin on your eye lid.
AM / STEP 7 The cream lightens out dark circles below.
PM / STEP 1 (in the shower) I love using an oil based cleanser with a hot cloth as its the best way to remove the day, thoroughly.
PM / STEP 2 I then re-apply the face cream from my day routine.
PM / STEP 3 I haven’t used many self tanning products but this gel is un-scented and goes on evenly, giving a subtle effect in the morning.
PM / STEP 4 I dab on this eye cream, it feels really lux on my skin.
PM / STEP 5 I’ve used this brow gel for years and it REALLY works.
