If you find yourself always buying dark knits I would strongly urge you to step outside your comfort zone and try something softer, don’t worry you can still give this look an edge and make it feel modern, you just have to use contrasting textures. I love oatmeal knits with stonewash denim and chunky black boots. There are so many great cardigans and jumpers around this season that it is definitely well worth investing in a few pieces as they are true style staples and so flattering on the skin (these tones will inject way more life into your skin than your usual black jumper) Wear a cropped cardigan with silk midi skirts and western boots, tuck a boyfriend style v-neck into high waisted vintage denim or wear a chunky oversized cardigan over a strappy midi-dress (with a fine turtle neck in a similar tone layered underneath if you need the extra layer)
