As a stylist it feels like a bit of a busman’s holiday quite literally when you have to think of and pack outfits for yourself. I’ve found that if I stick to packing the things I know I always end up wearing and variations of each look then I always have something to wear that requires little thought which lets be honest is exactly what holiday dressing should be all about. My go to holiday wardrobe pieces are short and long sleeved shirts, worn over a bikini with a sarong, shorts or loose trousers and this look works for both day and night. I also love to pack easy dresses that can work for a lunch or dinner that don’t crease too easily (as soon as you arrive hang everything in the bathroom, stick the shower on hot and close the door - steam room / crease free clothes) Here are some pieces that I’ve either bought or have my eye on currently via NETAPORTER. Also don’t forget that jeans and linen trousers are pieces that can be worn to travel in and then styled up with a bikini top and waistcoat / vest top where you arrive and lastly if you missed out on the brown silk Matteau shirt that I have and wear so much then check out the navy version that they’ve just launched, so chic !
