One of the perks of this job is that I was recently sent a pair of Citizens Of Humanity’s new Horseshoe jeans to celebrate their launch on 15th November. I am not into quirky denim shapes and I was skeptical before I put them on BUT oh my god are they flattering and so cool, they are now one of my favourite go to pairs, working equally as well for day as they do for evening. It got me thinking about how the shape of denim can DRAMATICALLY change the look and shape of your body. It’s one of the reasons that I’ve referred to jeans in the past as scaffolding for the body. Here are ALL of the black denim styles I own, none have been left out, some I wear less than others. I currently favour a looser fit so those styles are getting the most wear at the moment. I’ve chosen black to demonstrate the shapes with as its easier to see the silhouette of the denim.
