THE BEACH WEAR EDIT

c/o NETAPORTER

I love natural tones and textures in my wardrobe as well as in my surroundings. Since moving to Sydney’s Northern Beaches my clothes has lightened and are now a mix of linen pieces, light cottons and crochet skirts and dresses for the Summer months.

I am currently coveting this beautiful dress by Australian brand Zimmerman available from NET-A-PORTER. The thing I love about crochet as a cover up is that it’s so flattering, I have a few pieces now and find that I wear them a lot as well as the woven wrap skirt from Caravana that I’ve added to my edit below. The natural tones of both work really well with black swimwear which is the majority of what I wear.

I’ve owned the Eres ‘Aquarrelle’ swimsuit in black for over 3 years and it still looks as good as new and the support for a non-wired swimsuit is fantastic. I invested in the same style in ‘Claret’ which actually looks like a rich brown in real life and am currently thinking about the white. They can also double up as a body to wear with a wrap skirt, high waisted trousers or under a suit as the top is the best ‘vest shape’.
